Seattle: a welcoming city with culture, class and style. And of course rain! 'Raindrops keep falling on our head', could be the best analogy of Seattle. The excess rain might be an explanation for all the beautiful gardens and why there is a coffee cup in everyone’s hand!

It is truly a city of colour, art and natural beauty. There are about two weeks where the fall colours are at their peak - a time when locals and visitors watch the spectacle of fall foliage.

My guest post today was inspired by these beautiful pillows and is all about soft furnishings. Soft furnishings, like pillows, poufs, throws and cushions, can add comfort and beauty to interior designs. Here are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Along with wall coverings and floor coverings, soft furnishings add beauty to a room through color and pattern. Floor cushions and seat pads create added comfortable seating as well.
Taking a page of inspiration from Morocco, soft furnishings like poufs and large floor cushions offer portable seating options. Poufs and cushions also add pops of pattern and color to a room.
A banquette provides extra seating in this contemporary dining room. The striped cushion and colorful pillows are great decorating ideas that add beauty and comfort, creating a welcoming seating area.
There are so many living room design ideas. A gallery wall adds beautiful art to this contemporary space. Soft furnishings, like these pillows add beauty to the sofa.
Soft furnishings can liven up a neutral sofa. Love the African fabric on the sofa pillows that adds a bit of global style to this contemporary living room.
Soft furnishings can soften the lines of modern and contemporary furniture and make them more comfortable. A colorful pillow with loads of texture can also add beauty.

Our recent growth is very exciting; we are having a fantastic response on our launch in to the US, our new agent Marcelle from ‘Designer Candy ‘in New Zealand is on the road bringing Bandhini to our lovely kiwi neighbours, and spring brings Julia Brooking back to our team. ‘Jules’ has been part of the Bandhini family since 2003. We are very happy to have her back full time after missing her while she was away on her sailing circumnavigation adventures, having a sweet little boy named Oliver and working as a part-time consultant before he went to school.

Being in our sales and marketing team, she will be focussing on our partnerships and business development and she’ll be on the road every so often visiting our clients and agents investigating what we can do to keep our customers even happier.

Jules will be Sydney next week for the Reed Gift Trade Fair at Stand #4234. She’s staying on after until Friday the 23^rd of September visiting our customers. This is a valuable chance to arrange an appointment if you’d like to see our latest Summer 2012 designs and discuss any bespoke requirements you may have.
